What it does

Buffalo Trace takes the frame into bourbon warmth. Where gin brings dry botanicals, it brings body, sweetness, and a little oak, which is why the drink becomes a Boulevardier rather than a Classic with a twist. With Antica it goes plush; with Cocchi it stays moderate. Pile richness around it and the bitter edge starts to sink.
