What it does
Rittenhouse keeps a Boulevardier on the dry, spicy side. Where bourbon rounds things out, rye pushes back on the sweetness and gives Punt e Mes room to add even more grip. The result is firm and bitter where the bourbon version is plush. It holds up, but it drinks bracing if you came expecting something softer.
