The short version

The dry rye Boulevardier. Rye spice and Punt e Mes give it a firm, bitter finish.

Stir until properly cold and diluted. A firm orange twist works, but go easy, since there's already plenty of spice and bitterness in play.

Less plush and more bitter than the Buffalo Trace and Antica version. Same family, opposite ends.

Bracing if you were after a softer whiskey drink.
