What it does

Beefeater gives the Classic a clear gin spine without tipping it into severe. Its citrus and juniper sit easily next to Campari's orange, and Cocchi rounds off the join. It carries a gin-forward version well too. A richer vermouth softens it, and a long tonic pour blurs the detail.
