Tanqueray + Aperol + Cocchi

The short version

A softer red-bitter riff. Aperol pulls the bitterness down, Tanqueray keeps it upright.

Stir and serve over ice with orange. Keep it properly cold, since Aperol versions turn flabby when they're warm or under-diluted.

Softer and sweeter than a Campari Classic, with much less grip on the finish. Aperol is doing its own thing, not standing in.

Without a firm gin under it, it goes slack.
